Life Lesson #1: Don't be overconfident. You'll get knocked off your high horse sooner or later. Have confidence, but not too much.
As I continued curling my hair, I thought that another piece was going to slip through my fingers off the wand, but I held onto it by a strand (literally), and it ended up curling perfectly fine.
Life Lesson #2: Don't let go, even if you are only holding on by a thread (literally or figuratively), sometimes things that you never thought would work out will end up way better than you expected.
It's amazing the things that can come out of just curling hair, huh?
With this, I hope that I can pinpoint many more small things happening in my life that can be used to relate to even more big life lessons. Paying attention to detail and using every moment as an eyeopening experience is definitely a way to grow, inside and out.
Live for the little things--they have the biggest impact.
